2020 Annual Conference in December to be Held Virtually

Dear members and friends of the Kentucky Annual Conference, I pray that all of you are well and are experiencing the grace and glory of Jesus Christ, who is our living hope.   In postponing our Annual Conference from June until December in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had hoped we could gather together to celebrate God’s presence in our midst, enjoy each other’s company, and tend to the business of the Kentucky Annual Conference.  However, it is evident we will be unable to meet in-person for our annual gathering this year. Therefore, the decision has been made for Annual Conference 2020 to be held virtually instead of in-person. Bishop Fairley speaks about the decision.   Please note that the dates have changed slightly. Clergy and laity sessions will be held Sunday afternoon, Dec. 6. The Commissioning and Ordination Service will be livestreamed on Monday evening, Dec. 7. Tuesday, Dec. 8, will be our Annual Conference meeting.  This Wednesday, Aug. 19, we will have more information on Virtual AC in our Mid-Week Ministry Moment.  If you made hotel reservations for December conference in Covington through Passkey on the Conference website, the reservation will automatically be canceled. If you made reservations outside of the Kentucky Annual Conference block, you will need to contact the hotel directly to cancel.  Thank you for your continued patience and prayers for our Connection as we do Kingdom work together.    Always thankful,   Rev.
